Developed by LVCK—A Beyer Blinder Belle Studio, the project includes bespoke installations created in collaboration with Irish artist Emily McKeagney. Drawing from Ireland’s artistic and literary heritage, the team reinterpreted historic motifs such as the ancient triskelion and excerpts of Irish poetry into a layered, abstract pattern applied to the ballistic glass at the reception area. The design enhances both security and privacy while offering a poetic first impression for visitors.
Additional graphic elements across the embassy reference the work of James Hoban—the Irish-born architect of the White House, the Octagon House, and other early landmarks of Washington, DC—establishing a dialogue between Ireland’s creative legacy and its enduring influence on American civic architecture.
