Careers - Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners

About

We are dedicated to advancing design through the pursuit of meaningful projects that challenge and excite us.

BBB staff are engaging and dedicated professionals from all over the globe, with a wide range of backgrounds and interests: programming, architecture, historic preservation and adaptive reuse, interior design, campus planning, urban design, graphic design, and more. We foster an open, collaborative, and supportive culture—with a competitive benefits package—that promotes well-being, professional development, and work-life balance.

Believing that a wide range of personal and professional backgrounds results in a robust and creative firm, we make concerted efforts to expand the pipeline of design talent, both in the industry at large and within our own firm—to not only recruit diverse professionals, but also to support them while they’re here.

Recruitment & Hiring
We are always seeking talented staff who bring diverse skills and experience, who can help make a difference in the firm and to the clients and communities we serve. We are committed to a fair, inclusive, and transparent hiring process.
EDI Task Force
Our EDI (Equity, Diversity & Inclusion) Task Force coordinates a number of initiatives, both firm-led and staff-generated, to support, improve, and promote the advancement of women and minorities in the office and, by extension, the profession.
Employee Resource Groups
Our staff are empowered to convene and share best practices around the issues that matter most to them: sustainability, preservation, technology, culture, and more.
Mentorship@BBB
BBB's Mentorship Program is a formal, firm-wide, voluntary initiative that pairs junior and senior staff to give younger professionals clear paths to leadership positions. BBB staff also have the opportunity to nurture the next generation by volunteering with the ACE Mentorship program for high school students.
JUST Label
In 2023 BBB became a Just® organization: this voluntary disclosure program, sponsored by the International Living Future Institute, empowers our employees to shape our culture and practice according to our shared values and recognizes our firm’s dedication to a more socially just and equitable organization.
Internships
Our competitive 10-week internship program allows students to meaningfully contribute to projects and experience the daily work-life of an architecture firm, with additional professional development provided by in-office learning sessions, workshops, design charrettes, site visits, and social gatherings.
