Elizabeth (Liz) Ellington is a multi-disciplinary designer and planner in BBB’s Washington, DC office with over a decade of experience and a diverse portfolio of projects. She has extensive expertise in the design and management of complex projects, spearheading design guidelines, urban design frameworks, development capacity and zoning analysis, programming, interior design, community and stakeholder engagement, and public space design. Committed to the quality of design in the built environment and public realm, she creates visionary spaces for the future while bringing both organization and pragmatism to her projects. Liz has worked with diverse public, private, and institutional clients, including Princeton University, Lehigh University, Colby College, and the New York City Economic Development Corporation, as well as the private development community in New York City and Washington DC. Liz has a Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Interior Architecture from Auburn University, as well as a Master of Science in Urban Design from the Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London. She has been with BBB since 2007.
