Laura Varacchi

Principal, Wayfinding Strategist

Laura Varacchi is co-founder and Creative Strategist of environmental graphic design firm LVCK, which became a Beyer Blinder Belle studio in 2023. Laura has 20 years of experience as a lead designer and project manager. Her expertise covers broadcast media, print and information design, signage, and wayfinding, as well as environmental digital programs.

Her projects include a multi-platform, multi-lingual wayfinding program for NYU Langone, exterior signage for the Brooklyn Public Library system, new brand experiences for Hudson Link and the Philadelphia Passport Agency, and several public works projects in Austin, Texas.

Before founding LVCK with Chris King, Laura served for nine years as a creative director at Two Twelve, New York. Her work for the Empire State Building at Two Twelve was recognized by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission.

In addition to designing and implementing projects alongside her partner Chris King, Laura manages LVCK—A Beyer Blinder Studio. She received her BFA in communication design with a concentration in industrial design at Carnegie Mellon University and received a Masters in Design from Domus Academy in Milan.
