Omar L. Vega
Omar Vega, Director of Human Resources at BBB, is a key member of the firm's management team, overseeing all human resources functions, including employee benefits programs, performance development, and recruitment. His extensive professional experience includes serving as Operations Manager for American Health Care Providers, The Nurses Station of America, and CDC North America.
Omar has a distinguished record of leadership and community involvement. He has served on the board of the AIA’s Society for Design Administration and was President of the PAC Council at the Einstein Enrichment Program at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He also leads a professional development internship program through a non-profit organization and has been a community leader in the Soundview section of the Bronx. Additionally, he served as an advisor to New York City Police Commissioners William Bratton and James P. O’Neill, contributing to policies and programs designed to foster trust between the police and city communities.
Omar holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a Concentration in Human Resource Management, graduating with honors from the University of Phoenix. He has also completed specialized coursework in Employment Law and Network Systems at New York University and DeVry University, respectively. Since joining BBB in 2000, Omar has played a pivotal role in shaping the firm's success, culture, and commitment to excellence.
