Atlanta Braves – The Battery

Providing a vision for the Atlanta Braves' new baseball stadium district, BBB designed an active, year-round public plaza surrounded by entertainment and retail buildings at the heart of the new ballpark.

This mixed-use development encompasses the Atlanta Braves' proposed baseball stadium opened in 2017. Designed to be complementary in nature to the stadium, the development is tailored to enhance the fan experience and host a sustainable mix of retail, restaurants, residential, hotel and office space for year-round success. The initial phase of the project totals between 700,000 and 1,000,000 SF of retail, restaurant, residential, hotel and office space. The plaza is a grand central gathering space for fans, families, residents and visitors. It serves as a hub of activity, with new and fresh events throughout the year. Residents and visitors might catch a concert, movie or a craft beer in the entertainment venues neighboring the plaza, or enjoy a weekend street festival. On game days, members of Braves Country gather in the plaza.
