Hilton Times Square

The Hilton Times Square is a bold hotel complex that is connected both physically and aesthetically to a dense mix of retail, restaurants, tourist attractions, and entertainment spaces in the heart of Times Square.

With its lively, colorful facades inspired by Piet Mondrian's painting "Broadway Boogie-Woogie," the Hilton Times Square has become a recognizable icon on 42nd Street. Located above a retail and entertainment complex also designed by BBB, the 456-room hotel is organized on five floors, with two attractions on either side: Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum on the east and the AMC Cineplex on the west. Specialized retail tenants occupy the first, second and ground levels of the building, and a street level lobby features shuttle elevators that bring guests to a "sky lobby." The integration of the building's structural, HVAC and vertical transportation systems into the retail and entertainment complex below was one of the design team's greatest challenges.
