Beyer Blinder Belle Foundation Announces New Annual Scholarship Gift to Howard University

This year’s grant of $30,000 will support the academic and professional development of three current architecture students at Howard University, College of Engineering and Architecture. Intended to increase professional mobility, the program also includes a paid summer internship at Beyer Blinder Belle for one scholarship recipient.

The 2021 awardees include Dean Bailey (’23), Khadija Callender (’21), and Jemima Pierre (’23), each of whom will receive a $10,000 scholarship. In addition, Khadija Callender will join BBB as a summer intern in the Washington, DC office. All three 2021 awardees are pictured above; images provided courtesy of the awardees.

Going forward, the scholarship and paid internship will be awarded annually to one architecture student entering their third or fourth year of college at Howard University.
