Dynamic wayfinding and environmental graphics unify 92NY’s historic campus through a clear, contemporary visual language that enhances accessibility and the visitor experience.
As part of a multi-phase transformation and rebranding, the signage and graphics program brings cohesion to the 92nd Street Y, New York’s pair of interconnected buildings. Developed in coordination with BBB’s architectural master plan, the system integrates seamlessly with renovated lobbies, corridors, and public areas to support intuitive circulation and a renewed sense of place.
A coordinated family of static and digital signs guides visitors through performance spaces, classrooms, and fitness areas, while large-scale identification and donor recognition elements define key destinations. The result is a unified design language that reflects 92NY’s mission to be welcoming, inclusive, and connected to the cultural life of New York City.
