The new signage builds on the library’s existing system, improving navigation after a recent expansion changed the layout and orientation of spaces. Exterior identification signs, interior directional and room signage, wall graphics, and end-panel stack signs were designed to fit seamlessly into the building’s calm, neutral palette. Subtle color and illustrations add warmth and personality without overwhelming the architecture, while durable, easy-to-maintain materials ensure longevity.
Playful, curious details bring special character to the children’s and teen areas, encouraging exploration and delight. Illustrations were developed under BBB’s art direction to harmonize with seasonal displays and community events. The result is a thoughtful, integrated system that enhances clarity and comfort throughout this beloved community hub.
