A comprehensive renovation renews and transforms a historic cultural campus to support world-class arts programming and an improved visitor experience.
Representing the most significant transformation of the Society of the Four Arts’ historic buildings and grounds since the institution’s founding in 1936, the project is centered around the restoration and expansion of the Esther B. O’Keeffe and John E. Rovensky buildings. Honoring the architectural character of these two historic structures, designed by Addison Mizner in the 1920s, the project preserves historic exterior features and overall sense of place while integrating new additions for improved accessibility, circulation, and program space.
