Omar L. Vega

Omar Vega is an integral member of BBB's management team, overseeing human resources including employee benefit programs, performance development, and recruiting. Previously, Omar worked as the Operations Manager for American Health Care Providers, The Nurses Station of America, and CDC North America. Omar has served on several boards, including the AIA's Society for Design Administration. He currently serves as President of the PAC Council at the Einstein Enrichment Program at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, leads a professional development internship program through a non-profit organization, and serves as a mentor in his community in the Soundview section of the Bronx. In addition, he was an advisor to New York City Police Commissioner William Bratton and Police Commissioner James P. O'Neill, considering policies, programs, and plans aimed to build trust between the police and city communities. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a Concentration in Human Resource Management with honors from the University of Phoenix and has completed Employment Law and Network Systems coursework at New York University and DeVry University respectively. Omar joined BBB in 2000.
