Union Theological Seminary Campus Renewal Plan

BBB is helping a historic campus embark on a renewal plan that will restore and revitalize its twelve buildings for new generations of students.

Following the adoption of a comprehensive campus plan, BBB is providing design services to renovate the historic Morningside Heights campus, home of the oldest independent seminary in the Unites States. Built in 1910, the campus consists of twelve historic buildings surrounding a gracious landscaped courtyard. The renewal plan addresses institutional and programmatic needs while preserving the signature collegiate Gothic structures and garden quad at the heart of the campus. BBB's plan lays out a coherent vision for the mission-driven renovation that will reinvigorate the treasured institution for new generations of students. Interior renovation will improve accessibility and energy efficiency and upgrade building systems and facilities including student housing, classrooms, worship spaces, faculty and administrative offices, and general community and meeting spaces on campus.
