The largest residential development in Downtown Newark creates an urban presence with articulated volumes and rich coloration, while bringing a heightened level of amenities to an underserved market.

777 McCarter Highway is a striking contemporary mixed-use development, a 33-story residential tower with a three-story garage and ground-floor retail. Conveniently located only 100 feet from Newark Penn Station and a three-minute walk from Prudential Center, it catalyzes urban living in a transit-rich neighborhood and was developed with Newark-born NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal as a partner. The stepped volumes of the tower and the variegated coloration of the aluminum-panel facade visually subdivide the development and reference the materiality and scale of nearby buildings. The garage is elegantly concealed behind an intricately faceted aluminum screen that reflects light differently throughout the day. Interior amenities comprising more than 8,500 square feet include a game room, gym, yoga studio, work/study room, and roof lounge, while exterior amenities include seating areas, outdoor exercise facilities, a swimming pool, roof cabanas with barbecue areas, and an open-air movie theater.
